This photo essay tells the story of the workers and the fishermen who live and work on the once white beach in the shipbreaking yards near Chittagong in Bangladesh. Chittagong is one of the world’s biggest shipbreaking places and a working hell, which is characterized by low wages, lack of job security and lack of environmental protection.
