Die Halbwüste der “Los Barrancos” – “Die Schluchten” erstreckt sich über ein 234 Km2 großes Gebiet und besteht aus lehmartigen Sandstein, der sich durch Regen und Witterung beständig verformt, abspült, wieder verdichtet und im Laufe der Jahrhunderte ständig neue Formen bildet. Die Barrancos sind aus einem Tal des Flusses “Chicamo” hervorgegangen und sind eine typische Landschaftsform, die sich in Spanien an mehreren Orten findet.

The semi-desert of “Los Barrancos” – “The Canyons” covers an area of 234 km2 and consists of clay-like sandstone, which is constantly deformed by rain and weather, washed away, compacted again and constantly formed new forms over the centuries.
